Once Upon An Outlaw
The Ironhorse Writer / Beverly V Roberts
She lived amongst her childhood Knights
A storybook tale, come true
Atop steel steeds
They saw to her needs
There was nothing they would not do
Her father rode with the Brotherhood
Thus, a legacy began
His genius of vision
Her respect of tradition
Had immortalized each man
The Knights were considered vermin
That no one should have to endure
Yet she kept a date
With destiny and fate
For a child’s love remains pure
Life has brought her full circle
With vision from throttle to pen
Atop her steed
She now sees to their needs
Her Knights shall ride once again
